The low Employability Quotient of mass-produced, ‘assembly line’ graduates churned out year after year is a cause for concern and a reason for contemplation, by both academia and industry. The industry’s demand for students with a practical, trade-related and job-oriented education is increasingly being echoed by a student community that demands the same of educational institutions.
